Dear Alban and Cindy,

Mel just told me the sad news of your father's passing. Although I didn't know him, he must have been a good father to have raised a fine family in you and your siblings.

Although there is not anything I can do to ease your pain, know that I am thinking of you and the rest of your family and hope as time goes by you will be comforted by all the good times you shared.
