It is with sadness and pain that we announce that our mother Maureen has passed away at Credit Valley Hospital Oncology Ward January 10,2025 .Born on Thanksgiving Day October 13,1947 to Patricia nee: Hunniford (2021) and Leo (1989) in St Catharines Ontario. Best friend and mother to Kathryn Christine and Graham Walsh (Emily). Grandmother and #1 fan of Kathleen, Robbie, and Evie. Friend to everyone she met. Long time X-ray technician who trained in Montreal and ended her career in Toronto with lots of friends and connections made through the years. Had a heart of gold, was very loving, and very loved by her family. Very knowledgeable in many subject-areas. Had a love of books, cats and Tom Selleck. Very beautiful inside and out. Made everyone feel at ease when dealing with difficult issues. Special thanks to Dr Veronica Silva and the team at Complex Kidney Care Center. Donations in her name can be given to Kidney Foundation of Canada or Upper Credit Humane Society in Georgetown.
