In Celebration of

Matthew Stefan Howard

July 26, 1996 -  October 12, 2020

Born on a Blue Moon in July, he lived 8,844 days to his fullest and died before the Blue Moon in October - on his own terms.

Predeceased by Great-Grandmother Doris Behnke, Grandmother Margaret Howard & Pops Stefan Felsl.
Survived by parents Trent & Melanie, sister Fiona, Grandparents Jerry & Marilyn Behnke, and extended families – Cyndy Maracle, Cole Connolly (Brianna), Lance Maracle, Camelia Maracle, Jennifer Gerard.

From early childhood Matthew lived mostly by night and slept only when his body demanded! He had large, fabulous dreams of great and legendary successes. He loved whole-heartedly despite great vulnerability – and never gave up against so many obstacles and setbacks. His body – his vessel in this life – was not able to withstand the steerage of its captain. Sadly, he saw no option but to fly out into the early morning sky of Thanksgiving Day on his last journey into the unknown. May God be with him from here and give us the strength to carry on until our call comes.

In his last words he asks you to be good and beautiful to everyone.
Stay beautiful. Grow beauty. Create beauty in this ugly world.
LONG LIVE BEAUTY & BEAUTIFUL, TRUE FASHION!

Love you to the Blue Moon and back Matthew forever and always – Fare thee well!

As per his wishes, there will be no funeral. Cremation will take place. Arrangements are with Turner & Porter, 2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga, Ontario.

After Covid ends, there will be a Celebration of Life.

Special thanks go to Clive Chamberlain and Armand and Aurora Baba for all their support given to Matthew over many years.

Donations to CAMH would be appreciated.
