In Celebration of

Matthew Fehr

November 29, 1987 - February 18, 2023

Matthew Fehr
November 29, 1987-February 18, 2023

It is with deep sadness that we announce our sweet Matthew Fehr, 35, departed this life on February 18th in Edmonton, AB with his loving wife Sarah by his side.

Matthew was born on November 29, 1987 to Marie & Tommy Fehr. He was a beloved husband to Sarah Fehr (Gough), brother to Jeffrey and Jessica Fehr, uncle to Brayden and Owen Fehr, Sloane and Levi Sadl (Fehr).

Matthew and Sarah had just relocated to Edmonton, Alberta with high hopes and dreams. They spent much of their time in nature together with their dog Toby and were looking forward to a life brimmed with ceaseless adventure. Matthew had a true love of hockey and was an avid outdoorsman. He held close his family and would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need.

As our family sorely mourns the sudden loss of our son, brother, and friend we request peace at this time. As per Matthew’s wishes, a private Celebration of Life will be held and open to his family and only those closest to him at this time.

For those who wish to honour Matthew’s life and legacy, we ask that a donation be made to CAMH or the Canadian Heart & Stroke foundation.
