In Celebration of

Matthew Besler

June 28, 2005 -  July 2, 2025

With broken hearts we announce the passing of our beloved son, Matthew Besler, who left us far too soon at the age of 20.

Matthew is deeply loved and will be forever missed by his parents, Carole and Jordan Besler, his extended family, many friends and all whose lives he touched with his kindness, creativity and humour.

Matthew was a bright light in the lives of all who knew him with his expressive smile, goofy sense of humour and a warmth that made others feel at ease. Whether he was cracking jokes, creating art or shooting hoops at the basketball court, Matthew lived with vibrancy, energy and a deep sense of compassion for others.

Matthew had a genuine passion for music, he enjoyed stimming to rap, he especially loved to improv lyrics & record his own songs.

Matthew was enrolled in Humber College, pursuing a future in Healthcare Management—a natural path for someone who had always shown a true desire to help others. His passion for caring extended to everything he did. His gentle spirit and generous heart made a lasting impact on everyone around him.

Matthew’s absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but his light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Please join us to share your memories of Matthew and remember his kindred soul that he brought to our lives.

A visitation to honour and remember Matthew will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2025 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at Turner & Porter - Neweduk Chapel, 1981 Dundas Street West, Mississauga.

In honour of Matthew’s vibrant spirit, flowers are warmly welcomed to bring colour and joy—just as he did throughout his life.

If you wish to send flowers please contact La Belle Flowers & Gifts at 905.471.8155

I knew Besler from grade 12 math, needless to say, he was a good man to be around.
