Ioannis (John) Massis

October 28, 1929 - January 12, 2024

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dearly loved father and grandfather, Ioannis (John) Massis on Friday, January 12th, 2024 at the age of 94. Beloved husband of Eleftheria (Vicki), devoted father to Despina (Ile) and Chris (Brenda), and adored grandfather to Stephen, Ivan, Christian, Jacob, Zachary, and late Joshua.

Ioannis was born in Asprogia, Greece on October 28th, 1929. He was a hardworking, generous, and loving man who was happiest in the company of friends and family. He will be dearly missed.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., (Hwy. 10, N of the QEW) on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Service to be held at Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church, 1785 Matheson Blvd. E., Mississauga on Friday, January 19th, 2024, at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Sanctuary Park Cemetery (1570 Royal York Rd).
