In Celebration of

Mary Webb

September 9, 1932 -  November 16, 2020

After a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease, Mary passed away peacefully on November 16th, 2020 at the age of 88. Dearly loved by her late husband Alfred for 60 years, and devoted mother to James (Margaret), Carolyn (Mark) and Alison (Rick) and a doting grandmother to Shannon (Michael), Tyler, Brent, Richard, and Ryan. Beloved sister to Francesca, Joseph, Ann, Johnny, and the late Louis. Adored sister-in-law to Joan, Edris, the late Maudie, Patricia, and Frank.
Born in Pobedim, Slovakia in 1932. As a five-year-old, Mary traveled to Canada with her family and settled on a farm near Winnipeg. Mary was a fun-loving person who was always willing to try new things. After marrying Alfred in 1959, Mary embraced motherhood and enjoyed fashion, sewing, needlepoint, and cooking. She had a lifelong passion for gardening. Later in her life, Mary enjoyed golf, sailing, cottaging on Lake Simcoe, and traveling to Florida. The last decade of Mary’s life was spent living at Wyndham Manor nursing home in Oakville.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Christopher's Catholic Church, 1171 Clarkson Rd., Mississauga, on Friday, November 20, 2020.
