Mary Stochansky

May 26, 1938 - March 9, 2023

With sadness we announce the passing of Mary on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Runnymede Health Care Centre, at the age of 84.

Mary is predeceased by Walter, her husband. She was a loving mother to Jerry and Andrew and a loving mother-in-law to Lisa and Dan. She is survived by her brother, Jerry Hryhorsky. She will sadly be missed by numerous nephews, nieces, family and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane Subway, on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Panahyda will be held on Thursday at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Demetrius Ukrainian Catholic Church, 135 La Rose Ave., on Friday, March 17, 2023 at 10 a.m. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mary can be made to Canada Ukraine Foundation for people in need in Ukraine, https://www.cufoundation.ca or to the Huntington Society of Canada, huntingtonsociety.ca
