Passed away peacefully at Dorothy Ley Hospice on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 in her 91st year. Mary was predeceased by her first husband Tom Dowhey, second husband Steve Prokop, son Edward Dowhey and daughter Patricia Schoelch. She is lovingly remembered by her grandsons Peter (Bethany) and Donald Schoelch, step-daughters Dianne (Carl) Taylor and Stephanie (John) Bennett, step-grandchildren Paul, Alicia (Ryan), Jessica (Keith), Victoria (Mike), Ryan (Laura), Melissa (Flynn), step-great grandchildren Georgia and Paige. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W. (East of the Jane subway) on Sunday from 4 until 8 p.m. with Panachyda offered at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to the Ukrainian Care Centre.
