In Celebration of

Mary Kay Cormier

September 3, 1943 -  March 27, 2024

On March 27th, 2024, Mary Kay Cormier passed away peacefully with her husband, John Cormier, by her side. Mary, or as most had known her as Kay, was a strong-spirited woman who loved her family and friends dearly. Her tenacious spirit propelled her to experience the world in an out-going way, whether it was through travel to exotic destinations or merely visiting with family locally or afar, she embraced the opportunity to experience life to the fullest. She was known for her sense of humour and strength of character and she will be truly missed by all.

She will be remembered by those around her. Her husband, John Cormier, her children Tina and Chad, her step-children Derek (Michelle), Danielle (Alex), Nicole (Adin), and David (Deandra), and her grand-children (Emily, Kyra, Tyler, Nikolas, and Charlotte).

The family will receive friends for Kay’s visitation on Monday, April 1st from 5pm-8pm at the Turner and Porter Funeral Home, Neweduk-Erin Mills Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. West, Mississauga ON.

A celebration of life will be at the Chapel on Tuesday, April, 2nd at 11am with reception to follow.

If so desired, donations in memory of Kay can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada in lieu of flowers.

Mary Kay was all of the above. A take-charge, go-getter with an indomitable spirit.
She hired me in 1990, to work in her PT Dept (St Marys, PA) and I admired and respected her. The professional world has definitely lost a good one.
