A wonderful grandmother who will be deeply missed. She was so kind and thoughtful and had a wonderful cheeky sense of humor. My favorite memory of her is when we used to play "bungee jumping" with our stuffed animals when we were little. Every time we'd lower a toy, it would mysteriously disappear off the rope. Finally, we went down to see where the stuffies were going. At first glance, Grammy seemed to be minding her own business relaxing on the couch and watching golf (her favorite!). But then we thought to check behind the couch, and found all our stuffed animals! Grammy had been secretly hiding behind the corner, untying the stuffed animals and hiding them behind the couch!
I will miss talking to her on the phone very much, even though she always had to go because she had another friend calling to talk! She was too popular for me haha!
Sorry to hear the news. Relax, remember, stay well.

Mary was such a lovely person, with a great sense of humor. She will be sadly missed.
Mary entered my life when her brother, John, and I married. Then there were greeting cards und the occasional phone call. When John became terminally ill the phone calls increased and after his death that is how we kept in touch. It was wonderful to have this family connection and the ability to exchange stories and to keep up on all the happenings.
Mary was such a quiet, lovely person, full of concern for others. I will miss those conversations and the ability to exchange those stories and ideas. It is particularly wrenching as my only sibling, my brother in Germany, passed the same day after a brief terminal illness.
My heartfelt sympathy to all Mary’s family on their loss. May God’s grace, comfort and blessings give you that peace we are promised.

When I became the building manager of 46 & 50 Panorama back in 2021, Mary was one of the very first residents to welcome me. She walked into my office with a radiated smile even through her mask—her kind eyes always revealed her beautiful smile. She wished me luck and shared stories about the building she called home for so many years.
Mary was truly one of a kind. She loved the swimming pool, kept to a gentle routine, and every morning at 4 a.m., like clockwork, she’d pick up her newspaper. On April 1, 2025, for the first time, that newspaper remained untouched… and I knew we had lost our beloved Mary.
She was kind, thoughtful, respectful, and always so neat—she was even the only tenant who used the organic bin perfectly (we used to laugh about that!).
Mary, your presence was a gift to all of us. You will be missed more than words can express.
May your soul rest in eternal peace.
With love and remembrance,
Maryana Amanuel
