Mary "Elaine" Murdoch

April 9, 1933 -  October 25, 2019

Mary Elaine Murdoch passed away peacefully at Headwaters Healthcare Centre with her family by her side at 86 years old. Her passions included her family, photography, animals and the charities she cherished.
Elaine was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on April 9, 1933. Elaine grew up in Halifax. She moved to Toronto when she joined Air Canada in August 1959 at 26 and remained there until her retirement in June 1994.
She is survived by her loving sister Audrey M. Bain and her brother-in-law Alan J.T. Bain. She was loved by her nieces, Heather (Ken), Sharon (Ben) and Alison (Bruce). She is fondly remembered by her great nieces and nephews, Samantha, Sabrina, Jonathan, Alan, Charlotte, Meghan and Braedon and great great nephews, Lucas, Logan, Landon and she will be greatly missed by her cat Sheba. Elaine will also be missed by her many, many friends.

Friends may call at the Turner and Porter Butler chapel at 4933 Dundas Street West between (Kipling and Islington Avenue) Etobicoke, Ontario, on Tuesday October 29th, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm and Wednesday October 30th, 2019 for the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Humbercrest United Church, 16 Baby Point Road, Toronto, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Toronto Humane Society or the Hospital for Sick Children. Online condolences may be made through www.turnerporter.ca.
