In Celebration of

Mary Bunk

December 26, 1918 -  May 6, 2019

Deeply loved, and missed by daughters Lorraine & Louise (Late Joe Blazik), son James (Kathy), grandson Joe Jr. Blazik (cherished great granddaughter Emma), granddaughter Danielle Blazik (cherished great grandsons Jaxson & Jayden).

Mary was fond of her special cousin Stella Serfas (SK), daughters-in-law Leeann Blazik and Kathy. Mary’s companion cat “Julia” will surely miss her, as well as relatives, and friends.

Mary was caring, kind, compassionate, non-judgmental and very wise. When neighbors brought bags of clothing, Mary would sort, wash, and repair out of respect before offering to the needy at church.

Predeceased by seven brothers: Steve, Fred, Nick, Jim, Mike, Harry & Peter.

Marie’s ancestry is Austria. Beloved parents Lena & Paul and grandparents Anna & Filip emigrated to Canada in 1907 due to uprising in Communism.

Visitation will be held at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West (East of the Jane subway), on Thursday May 9 from 2:30 pm – 8 pm.

Interments at Janow Corners (family cemetery / Catholic) in Prince Albert SK & Austria, ancestry homeland, at a later date.

Donations in Mary's memory to Dorothy Ley Hospice are greatly appreciated.

If I could write a story it would be the greatest ever told. Of a kind and loving Mom who had a heart of gold. I could write a thousand pages and still be unable, to say just how much I love and miss you every single day.
Always in our thoughts. Always in our hearts.
Love James and Cathy Bunk
