In Celebration of

Mark Pavkovic

September 4, 1980 -  June 15, 2024

Beloved son of Frances and the late Pasko Pavkovic passed away suddenly on June 15 from liver failure at the age of 43. Mark was larger than life and enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved his friends and had a treasure trove of memories from his days at Humber Valley, St. Michael’s College School and Kings College Western. He then joined National Homes, moved to the Sorbara Group and was currently vice-president of Development at Calibrex Developments. He thrived on his interaction with people young and old and rose to every challenge offered him.

Mark was the brightest of lights that drew everyone to him with his veracious humour and unparalleled wit. An uncanny ability to be the most magnetic personality in the room leaving each person he interacted with cherishing his visits and anxiously anticipating the next. He was the Centre to which everyone gravitated.
Mark was a man with the largest of hearts that we were so fortunate and privileged to know and love. We were blessed and will miss him more than anyone knows.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, on Tuesday, June 18, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 3055 Bloor St. W., west of Royal York Rd., on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at 10:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the St. Joseph Health Care Centre, where Mark received extraordinary care, would be appreciated.

Reception to follow at St. George’s Golf and Country Club.

Online condolences may be made using this website.

Mark, you will always be in our hearts. We love you “Pako”.

You had the brightest smile, the strongest laugh and you brightened every room you went in to.
Heaven just received one of the funniest people earth had to offer.
Hopefully your golf game has improved by the time i get up there, but you always did say "if you're not the best golfer you have to be the best dressed"!
RIP Guv'nor

I had the privilege of meeting Mark through his mother, Fran, and enjoying his company.
He was a caring and loving son who was always ready to look after Fran calling her every day to be sure she was well. He was considerate of others and even brought me flowers on Valentine’s Day when I was staying at Fran’s. He was intelligent , fun loving and active. He was a pleasure to be with and will be truly missed.
Rest in peace Mark

My deepest condolences to Frances and the Pavkovic family.

Dear Mark, I’m beside myself. I would never have imagined you’d be taken from us so early, too early indeed. You were one of my very first childhood friends. Your presence alone throughout the years never failed to bring me both comfort and joy — the privilege of which I’m grateful to have experienced.

The world is darker today. You are dearly missed.
