In Celebration of

Marjorie Lake

April 12, 1932 -  June 14, 2021

Lake, Margaret (Marjorie) Cecily
Originally of Toronto, Ontario is at peace. Marjorie came to rest at the Brampton Civic Hospital, June 14, 2021 at the age of 89. Marjorie is survived by her beloved children and step-children, with her first husband Donald Fredrick Hamilton; Martin, Donna, Laurie, Kelly and with her second husband Donald Samuel Lake; Patricia, Suzanne, Perry and Pierre. The beautiful grandchildren and great-grandchildren provided by her blended clan were an enormous source of joy and pride.
Marjorie’s boundless love, her kindness and her beautiful smile will be missed but never forgotten by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and dear friends.
A small memorial is planned with immediate family, with interment at Park Lawn Cemetery. Our deepest appreciation goes to those inquiring about arrangements, a kind thought or a prayer for Marjorie are most welcome. In Marjorie’s memory, love one another, be kind and be well…that would be Marjorie’s hopes for all.

To the Hamilton & Lake family; Tony and I had the pleasure of spending time with Majorie when she came to visit at Papineau Lake. Always a pleasure, she was quick with a smile and a great sense of humour. We will always remember cards and movies and afternoon cocktails out on deck. Our sincerest condolences, Susan and Tony.

I’ll always remember Marg for her warmth, big smile, crispy bacon, peanut butter sandwiches and the button she gave me when I a kid and which I still have today. I’ll miss her!
