Marion "Molly" Joyce Dennison (nee Elder)

March 26, 1926 -  August 28, 2020

Daughter of James (Jimmy) and Alice Elder. Marion was enabled to remain in her home because of her dedicated care givers and then passed away at Humber River Hospital palliative care. Born and raised in Toronto Marion worked many years as an executive secretary for Wood Company (“Sanitation for the Nation”). Marion loved choir music, piano, bridge , travel to Thunder Beach cottage, also was the librarian at 240 Scarlett Rd for many years, plus belonged to Lampton Bridge Club. Marion met her husband Jack Dennison and his sons Douglas and Ross through music. They became a family in 1957.Predeceased by husband John (Jack) Dennison , brother Bruce Elder (Nancy),and her stepson Douglas Dennison (Diane). Survived by stepson Ross Dennison (Paula), step daughter in-law Diane, grandchildren Andrew (Andrea), Nancy (Gabriel).

Marion was a beloved family member who brought her joy and talent to gatherings especially the Christmas Carol Sings. A fixture at the cottage on Thunder Beach where her heart was. She will be missed by all.

We will miss Aunt Marion. We celebrate her wonderful life and her warm heart. The world is a lesser place now that she is gone.
