In Celebration of

Marilyn Melanie Di Ginosa

October 27, 1961 -  November 4, 2023

With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Marilyn, who left us all too soon. She was a pillar of strength, a beacon of love, and a source of inspiration to all who knew her.

As a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend, Marilyn touched the lives of many with her immeasurable kindness, unwavering support, and infectious laughter. She leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will endure forever in the hearts and memories of all who knew her.

Her husband, sons and daughters-in-law, cherished grandson Leo, siblings, nieces, nephews, and special friends will hold her memory close to their hearts. Marilyn created a tapestry of beautiful moments that will be treasured for generations to come.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Canadian Cancer Society, a cause dear to Marilyn's heart.

We invite all who knew and loved her to join us in honouring the remarkable woman she was.

Marilyn will forever remain in our hearts and memories, and may we find solace in knowing that she is now in a better place.

Tony, John and I are just gutted by the sudden loss of Marilyn. I have loved knowing you guys through Cathy and Randy and Marilyn was so caring and interested in everyone. It is surreal what you and your family are going through. Please know you are in our thoughts a lot and we hope to see you when we are in town next. With heavy hearts and much love, Nancy and John Bowen.

I am so grateful for every laugh , every smile, every kind gesture and so many years of just hanging out. I am super grateful we spent our final 5 hour dinner with you and Tony for your birthday at Rogues Friday, just a week earlier. Finally , in keeping with our tradition we shut the place down!

I met Mar when I was 16 and my brother who had a child at an early age (he was 17) worked as a night janitor after school at Rockwood Mall at Dixie and Burnhamthorpe. When I would stop in to bring him some dinner, without fail I would find him hanging around the girls that worked at the ladies wear store , and Marylin was one of them. I got invited to one of Mar and Tony's famous parties and the rest is history. We were inseparable for decades.
Sometimes life gets in the way and time slips away with it, but we always picked up where we left off, like true friends do.

So many stories to tell, and smiles to make telling them, and I will. bye Mar! xoxo
