Marnie was predeceased by her parents Noble and Jessie Drew, husband John Alfred Torrance, daughter Beth Anne, and Sister Carol Drew Pulver. She is survived by her sister Lorraine (Drew) Millward and brother-in-law Alfred Pulver. Marnie adored her six grandchildren, Shannon, Tyler, Kaitlin, Breanne, Kyle and Christopher. Marnie was a proud Great Grandmother to Jackson, Bowen, Cole, Isabella, Blake, Sophie, Parker and Emerson, with a ninth great grandchild due in July. She was a wonderful, thoughtful, energetic woman. Marnie was a pillar in her community and church. She was well respected by all who knew her. Marnie lived life to the fullest, always giving back to her peers and community as much as possible. She was an avid traveller in later years, she thoroughly enjoyed seeing the wonders of the world with her friends.
Family and friends may call at Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St W, Etobicoke on Tuesday June the 21st at 2 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 3 p.m. A celebration of Marnie’s life will be held following the service at Tapestry Village, 15 Summerland Terrace, Etobicoke.
