March 4, 1922 - May 2, 2024

Peacefully, on Thursday May 2, 2024 at White Cliffe Terrace, Courtice, at the age of 102.

Beloved wife of the late Samuel. Cherished mother of Greg (Karen Jones) and Catherine Koruna. Adored grandmother of Cory, Samantha, Melissa, Lindsay, Michael and great grandmother of ten.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., (Hwy. 10, N of the QEW) on Friday May 10, 2024 from 9:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11 a.m.

Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery- Port Credit.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Catholic Children’s Aid Society of Toronto.

Our prayers are we you all. Aunt Marie was such a big part of our family. Robert and I enjoyed our visits with her. And our 2 hour phone conversations every few weeks. With her perfect memory she would love to tell us stories of the past. And we enjoyed and loved every minute of them. Loved going through the photo albums with her. She is truly one in a million. I always thought of her as my other mom. After each visit and phone call there was never a time when I didn't tell her how much we loved her. And she would say it right back each time. Miss her so very much already. But now she is at peace and has reunited with the love of her life. Love you with all our hearts Aunt Marie. Bless you always. xoxoxo

It was a great pleasure to meet Marie and spend time with her while I was employed at Whitecliffe, and even after I left. We shared a lot of laughter and good times. I will miss her. Rest in peace my friend.
