In Celebration of

Maria Zeljeznjak

November 13, 1986 -  April 16, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Maria Zeljeznjak on April 16, 2024, after a brave fight with cancer.

Maria is predeceased by her grandparents Stjepan and Ana Zeljeznjak, Ivan and Magdalena Matuzic and her father Dragutin.

Maria is survived by her loving mother Katarina, devoted brother Steven, loving fiance Goran, uncle John, great aunt 'Teta Kata', God parents Mike and Danica Blazevic, many relatives and friends in Canada and Croatia.

Maria touched our lives with joy, kindness and love. She loved her families and devoted herself to them. She had a wonderful sense of adventure and enjoyed traveling. She treasured the friendships she made playing pool and participating in tournaments. Maria was very creative. Her work is evidence of this special gift.

Maria will live forever in our hearts.

Rest in peace our darling Mare.

To Dearest Mare – You were a bright and shining light in the family, cute, spritely and full of life. We watched you grow and blossom into the beautiful young woman you became. You were taken from us much too early. Wishing you peace in heaven. You will never be far from our thoughts!

To her closest family - Wishing you feelings of comfort, moments of peace and memories of joy during this difficult time. Words cannot express how saddened we are to hear of your loss. Our most heartfelt condolences. With love from your cousins ~ Ivanka, Rick & Connor Goedecke

Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near. So loved, so missed and held so dear.
