It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Maria Gabinet.

Maria passed away peacefully at Cawthra Gardens Long Term Care on Sunday, September 10th at the age of 90. Beloved wife of 66 years to Stanley Gabinet, until his passing in 2018. Loving mother of Lucy, Richard (Erica), Edward (Silvia), Teresa (Stuart), and Irene (Jane). Cherished Babcia of Katie (Shaun), Geoffrey (Laura), Julia (Francesco), Alexander and Daniel (Carly).

Our mother loved to cook and tend to her beautiful garden. She was the heart of our family, gathering everyone together to enjoy her delicious Polish home cooking and the joys of family.

Rest in Peace our beautiful Mom/Babcia.

Our heartfelt Thank You to the caregivers at Cawthra Gardens who cared and guided our mother with love and dedication through her journey. A special Thank You to Rosita Aras, our devoted caregiver for Maria and Stanley for over 8 years. We thank you for your compassion and kindness.

Friends may visit at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, on Monday, September 25th from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Stanislaus Kostka Roman Catholic Church, 12 Denison Avenue, on Tuesday, September 26th at 11:00 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. For those who wish, donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Canada.
