Surrounded by her four children, our Momma Bear passed away January 14, 2021. She was a pillar of strength and courage...a true fighter to the end.

Maria was predeceased by her late husband, Salvatore Lanni. Cherished mother of Vincenza (Sam), Ida (Lino), Joe (Anita) and Diane (Oscar). Much loved Nonna of her nine grandchildren: Adrianno, Rachael, Olivia, Sophia, Romeo, Gabriel, Leandro, Emilia, Drea and her fur-grandchild Frankie. She is survived by her three brothers: John, Tony and Domenic. She is predeceased by her late parents Giuseppe and Maria Stalteri. She was loved by her sisters and brothers in-law, her nieces and nephews and her many friends.

In light of COVID restrictions, there will be a small private funeral attended by her immediate family only. A mass and Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, donations in Maria's name can be made to The Kidney Foundation of Canada.
