It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maria Kurylec, on December 16, 2020, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, at the age of 95, after a brief illness.

Beloved wife of the late Lew Kurylec. Loving mother of Bohdan Kupycz and Genya Pastuszok (Michael). Cherished Baba of Adrian (Olivia), Peter (Eve), Paul, and Luke and Pra Baba of Ava. Maria will be dearly missed by her niece Lucia and her son Ivan. She will also be missed by family in the Ukraine, the US and fondly remembered by her friends and neighbours alike.

Maria was retired from Ontario Hydro where she forged many lifetime friendships. Maria will be remembered for her deep faith and love for the rosary. Throughout her life she was active in the Ukrainian community.

A private family service will be held.
