In Celebration of

Maria Emmanuela Favaro

March 14, 1945 -  May 11, 2025

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Maria Emanuella Favaro (Sartori).

She fell asleep in death on Sunday, May 11, 2025. She is predeceased by her husband, Gianfranco Favaro, whom she married on December 3, 1966.

She will be greatly missed by her children, Michela (Bryan), Giovanni (Rosetta), and Frank (Vanda) and her grandchildren, Hannah, Joshua, and Michael, who she was proud of and loved so much.

She will also be sadly missed by her brothers and sister, Danilo (Graziella), Antonio (Ivana), Sergio (Luciana), Elizabetta, Roberto (Rafaella), Graziano (Elena), Dario (Sabrina) and she is predeceased by her sister Gemma and her parents, Vincenzo and Gigetta. She loved her many cousins, nieces and nephews and enjoyed seeing them grow up over the years when she visited home.

Manuela was born on March 14, 1945 in San Stino di Livenza, Venice, Italy. The family immigrated to Canada and settled in Sudbury, Ontario.

Manuela will be remembered for her hospitality, generosity and hard work that she put into everything she did. She was happy as a servant of Jehovah God and was a loyal and loving friend to so many. She loved people and always looked for ways to see how she could help them. Her reward for all her hard work was spending time with her children, their spouses and her grandchildren. Her genuine smile and infectious laugh will never be forgotten.

“God…will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.” – Revelation 21:3, 4.
