Passed away peacefully at Credit Valley Hospital on Monday, May 14, 2018 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Domenico (1989). Loved mother of Ugo (Sharon) and Lina (Joe). Cherished grandmother of Tamara (Salvatore), Stacey (Roberto), Justin and Matthew (Kristen). Dear great grandmother of Cole, Matteo, Gabriella, Luke, Mya, Emma and Milena. Sister of the late Angelo (Dora), late Micele (Amalia), Pietro (late Linda), Ermelinda (late Mario) and the late Antonio (Rina). Predeceased by her parents Bernardo and Marianna Torchia and her mother and father-in-law Pietro and Angelina Cardamone. Maria will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy. 10, N. of QEW) on Thursday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 PM. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 2340 Mississauga Street on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 9:30 AM. Entombment Assumption Mausoleum.
