In Celebration of

Margo Cunningham

November 1, 1950 -  May 3, 2021

“To live in Hearts we Leave Behind is Not to Die”

It is with profound love and sorrow that we announce Margo’s peaceful passing on May 3, 2021. Margo was an extraordinary mother to her only son, David. She will be deeply missed by her siblings, Colin, Phil and twin sister, Morag. A wonderful caring aunt to Chris, Michelle, Ceilidh, Meredith, Dylan, Catherine and Fidel.

Margo courageously fought her battle with leukemia for five years and never complained or lost her sense of humour. The family wishes to extend its gratitude to her loyal friend and comforter in her last days, Charlotte Empey. We would like to thank the doctors at Princess Margaret Hospital for their exceptional care and concern and to the whole team of nurses who offered so much comfort to her in her last days.

A celebration of her life will be held when conditions are deemed suitable. Donations to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society are most welcome.

Dearest Margo
We will miss you and you will always be in our hearts. Still making your famous farmhouse casserole recipe you gave me and your funny comments still make us giggle when we think of you

I'm so sorry for your passing. Unfortunately, we never actually met in person, and I didn't know you existed until my father (John Prince) introduced us online some years back. I followed you and your life through Facebook and watched how happy you were with your family. Because of your joy and happiness for life, I never knew that you were fighting leukemia. I regret that we have never met, but you appeared to had a wonderful, fulfilled life. God Bless!

From the deepest depth of my heart I send my sympathy to David and the rest of the family, for the loss of dear, funny, courageous, giving, loving Margo. I'm going to miss you, girl, as are all those who got to know and love you.
