In Celebration of

Margaret "Dolly" Noseworthy

November 4, 1937 -  September 28, 2018

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret ‘Dolly” Noseworthy on Friday, September 28, 2018. Born in Sydney, Nova Scotia on November 4, 1937 to Henry and Olive Langley (deceased). Predeceased by husband David Melanson, daughter Noelle and son Ralph. Loving mother to sons Terry (Carlene) of Barrie, Ontario and Rick of Houston, Texas. Dear sister of Douglas Langley (Diane). Immensely proud of her 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was never happier than when visiting with her family and being called Nana, Super Nana or Banana Nana. Will be greatly missed by her sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, especially her best friend Kay Langley. In 1974 she moved with her three boys to Mississauga starting a new life surrounded by her brothers, sisters, extended family and close friends who provided both love and support. A long-time member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 582, Cooksville, she was a past President of the Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed bowling, fishing at the cottage, family get togethers and attending every key event important to her extended family and friends. Special thanks to the staff at the Respiratory Inpatient Unit at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie; PSW’s from Saint Elizabeth Healthcare, Barrie; and the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County. A service celebrating Mom’s life will take place at the Turner and Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., (Hwy. 10 N of QEW) Mississauga 905-279-7663 on Saturday, October 6, 2018 with visiting starting at 2pm.

Lovely Dolly, despite my marriage to your son Ralph dissolving many years ago we remained in touch and had many a wonderful chat over the years. I am thankful for the love you gave to your grandchildren, my children Matthew and Jennifer, and also to my daughter Emily who is not your grandchild, she is a sister to your grandchildren and you treated her the same as the others. I will miss you. Love always Natalie.

I will miss you terribly, I was so blessed to have you in my life and to know how much I was loved by you... not once did you ever come off the phone without making sure that I knew you loved me. On the last day I spent with you, although our words were not many they will hold an immense place in my heart... for once I got to be the one to say I love you first. Now you can rest in Gods hands without any pain and worries and with a large family to greet your homecoming... we will all remain here together to remember you with love until our time comes for us to meet again. Rest in Peace Aunt Dolly.
Love Lynn and Devonne
