It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marek Chojecki, who left us following a battle with illness on November 5, 2024, at Toronto General Hospital, at the age of 67.

He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Teresa, and a loving father to Adam, Ewelina and her husband Matthew. Marek will always be in the hearts of his many extended family members, both here and abroad in Poland.

The house will be emptier with him gone, and his family will greatly miss his whistling, singing, and snoring. Marek and his wife and children were a close-knit immediate family. Despite his diagnosis, his family feels blessed for the almost 4 years they had with him in relatively good health, and they cherish this time in their hearts.

Marek was a dedicated worker and will be sorely missed by his colleagues at Sheraton Parkway Hotel. He was not just a co-worker but a true friend.

Marek’s viewing will be open to all friends and family at Turner and Porter Peel Chapel, located at 2180 Hurontario Street (Hwy. 10, N of the QEW) on Monday, November 11, 2024, from 5 – 9 pm.
