In Celebration of

Marcus Alexander Wahid

June 14, 1992 -  November 2, 2024

With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to our dear Marcus. He was a loving and hardworking soul, who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and taken from us far too soon. With his warmth and kindness, he touched the lives of everyone he met, and he was a friend to all. His pride and joy was his baby girl, who he loved with all his heart, and this deep love extended to his wife. They were his foundation and strength, alongside his parents. Marcus cherished his Trinidadian and Portuguese heritage; he loved to indulge in currants roll and bifana, and his love of red Mustangs reflected his dynamic spirit. A natural handyman, there was nothing he wouldn’t try to fix, and weekend BBQs became treasured gatherings when he wasn’t busy cleaning and organizing the world around him. Though he has left this world, his gentle, caring spirit will live on in the hearts of his daughter, his family, and all who had the honor of knowing him.

Family and friends are welcome to a Visitation at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W. on Thursday, November 14th from 2:00 -9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., on November 15th at Runnymede Presbyterian Church, 680 Annette St. Interment at Park Lawn Cemetery.

1. John 11:25-26
“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?’”

Dearest Marcus:

With a heavy heart I’m expressing my condolences.
As you Rest in Peace in the Arms of our Lord Almighty, remember your ‘Pot of Gold’ Alexandria is always going to hold you close to her heart. Her yelling ‘Father’ at 10:00 p.m. is going to ring in my memory forever. Your baby girl is going to walk in your shadow forever. We are going to take special care of her and make sure she walks in the right spiritual path. We love you and would always have wonderful memories. Arianna is going to be at your side to carry out every dream you had for Baby Alexandria.

As you rest in the arms of our Almighty.

Rest in Peace Marcus
Blessings
Pamela.
