Born in Etobicoke on June 12, 1975 and died April 26, 2021 in Cranbrook, British Columbia.

Loving son of Dr. William and Gene Russell of Mississauga, brother of Monique Spalding and her husband David of Auckland, New Zealand. Father to daughter Averie of Pincher Creek, Alberta, uncle to Blake, Eleanor and Rebecca Spalding. Nephew to Mark Rousseau of Florida.

Marc was a very special kind of gentle loving man, and will be missed intensely by his grieving family and friends. May he rest in peace.

A private family service will be held.

Dear Gene, Willie and Monique

Ed and I are deeply saddened to learn of Marc's untimely death and we wish to extend our heartfelt condolences to you and all the family on the loss of your devoted son, brother and uncle.
The loss of one's child or sibling is beyond painful and we can only hope that the memories of the happy times you shared with Marc will sustain you through the time ahead. He leaves his legacy in his daughter Averie, who us a blessing for all the family. We share in your sorrow and extend our deepest sympathy.
