In Celebration of

Manuel Oliveira Raposo

July 10, 1938 -  February 2, 2021

Manuel Oliveira Raposo, 83, peacefully passed away on February 2nd, 2021 in Mississauga, Ontario. Manuel is survived by his wife, Maria Rosa Ferraz and his two daughters, Goretti & Elvira. Manuel was born in Ribeira Grande, Sao Miguel, Portugal.

Being a kind and dependable father was of the utmost importance to him and he certainly did not disappoint when it came to wholeheartedly loving his family, especially when it came to his grand children, Gregory, Michael, Alessia, Chiara, Juliana, Samantha, Francesco, Felicia, Dillon, Kiarra-Ann, Kameron, and Veronica.

A message from your wife:

Meu querido Manuel. You were the love of my life. I love you so much. I will never forget you. Never.

A message from your daughters:

Papa you were the rock of this family. Strong and solid. No matter what...you were here to support and love. You were hardworking and selfless. We were your princesses and you gave us everything. We will miss you so much. We love you daddy.

A message from your grand children:

Thank you for the unconditional love. There wasn't a day where we weren't loved by you. We could sit with you in silence and know that we were supported and understood. Thank you for your strength - you never showed a sign of worry in front of us. We always knew with you around, everything would work out. We always had you in our corner. Thank you for the memories. We promise to love your home and island as much as you did. Lastly, thank you for our mommas they are strong and determined. Their love is unconditional because of your example and support. We promise to take care of them, to watch out for them, and to keep them in-check just like you always did. Vavo, we can't thank you enough for everything you were for us and our family. We will love you forever and will continue to live everyday making you proud.
