In Celebration of

Mackenzie Katherine Marzec-Hosford

September 24, 2004 -  March 14, 2020

It is with unbelievable sadness and absolute heartbreak that we announce the passing of our daughter, sister, and granddaughter, Mackenzie Katherine Marzec-Hosford. We cannot believe that she is no longer here with us, the emptiness in our home is devastating and the silence is deafening.

Mackenzie is deeply loved by her family and friends. Mackenzie will be remembered for her love of sports, her dog Suzy, Harry Potter and Murdoch Mysteries, One Direction, and most importantly she loved to laugh and have fun. Mackenzie was loyal and kind, and always worked so hard in everything she did.

Unfortunately due to the current circumstances with Covid-19, we have been advised to keep the arrangements only for our immediate family. This pains us deeply as we really hoped to once again experience the love and support each one of you have given us over the last three weeks.

We are not sure what we might do in the future to celebrate Mackenzie’s life once this extraordinary situation calms down but we have created a Gmail account to receive private messages, pictures and videos that you may wish to send. This will also allow us to communicate with you in the future as plans are finalized. The Gmail account is mmarhos24@gmail.com

Kenz, we love you so much, you will be carried in our hearts forever. Everything we do each day will be in honour of you. Love you forever BBG.

Dear Sam, Rob and Kate:
I did not have the grace to meet Mackenzie in person, but I met her during my long conversations with Sam. Every picture and story about Kenzie as Sam always called her I can realize how full of life she was. She was a blessed girl with an amazing family. My prayers, strengths and love for all you and extended family.

Rest in Peace Mackenzie.
