It is with unbelievable sadness and absolute heartbreak that we announce the passing of our daughter, sister, and granddaughter, Mackenzie Katherine Marzec-Hosford. We cannot believe that she is no longer here with us, the emptiness in our home is devastating and the silence is deafening.

Mackenzie is deeply loved by her family and friends. Mackenzie will be remembered for her love of sports, her dog Suzy, Harry Potter and Murdoch Mysteries, One Direction, and most importantly she loved to laugh and have fun. Mackenzie was loyal and kind, and always worked so hard in everything she did.

Unfortunately due to the current circumstances with Covid-19, we have been advised to keep the arrangements only for our immediate family. This pains us deeply as we really hoped to once again experience the love and support each one of you have given us over the last three weeks.

We are not sure what we might do in the future to celebrate Mackenzie’s life once this extraordinary situation calms down but we have created a Gmail account to receive private messages, pictures and videos that you may wish to send.
