I was so sad to hear of the passing of my cousin Lynn. Lynn endured many hardships and heartaches over her short time on earth with us, yet managed to still have the kindest of hearts and the most gentle of souls. She had a great sense of humour and a most remarkable and unforgettable laugh.

As a young girl, and into my teens, I have fond memories of Euchre and OH Hell card nights at my parents place with Lynn and her ex-husband Ed. It was a get together my sister Lorna and I didn't want to miss and looked forward to with great anticipation.

My deepest condolences to my Aunt Janet, and my cousins and their families. My deepest sympathies to her companion, Scott Appleby, as well. Her memories will live on in our hearts forever.

;

We have had many ups and downs in our lives - too many, and we will have more.

This is life, and this is what it does.

Life brings you to your knees, it brings you lower than you think you can go.

But, if you stand back up and move forward, if you go just a little further, you will always find love.

We found love in Lynn.

And her life, her story, it will continue because she is our story. She is our mothers story, and our grandmothers.

Lynn's body failed her, but she is us.

So, now we will go and give her a beautiful life - the most beautiful life ever.

And, when life again brings us to our knees, we will stand back up.

We will get up, and go further, and find the love.

For you Lynn, with all the love we have in our hearts.
