A free spirited, adventurous and gentle soul, Luis Andres died peacefully at home on Saturday February 18, 2022.

Born in Caracas, Venezuela, on November 10, 1986, to Maria Teresa Febres and Luis Alberto Vega, Luigi, as the family knows him, had a larger-than-life personality and lived life to the fullest. He was a big brother to Andreina, and together, they moved from Venezuela to Canada to pursue a better life.

From a very young age, Luis Andres had an entrepreneurial spirit, always driven to take his own path in this world, living boldly and fearlessly. He constantly found ways to reinvent himself and persevered through whatever challenges came his way.

Luis Andres had many passions: food, drinks, music, the arts and traveling. He loved exploring new places, trying different things and losing himself on his adventures. More recently, Luis Andres found himself and his calling in drones and photography. With his new found passion Luis Andres worked relentlessly to develop his craft, becoming a fully licensed drone operator and well respected creator in the Greater Toronto Area. He took his passions with him everywhere he went, and the family is now blessed to have an abundance of memories he captured from the many family holiday trips, weddings and gatherings.

Luis Andres had a kind and big heart. While his love of life often led him down adventurous paths, he would often surprise his loved ones with thoughtful gestures and acts of kindness. He loved his entire family deeply, especially his grandparents: Danger Grandma, Alita, and Perucho, who encouraged him to dream big and were always there when he needed their support and encouragement. He made sure his grandparents knew how much they meant to him. To his peers, Luis Andres was an innovator. During childhood, he led adventures and mischievous activities with his accomplices (cousins and sister). He inspired us all to dare more and still does today.

Rarely a dull moment, Luis Andres filled his family and friends with both love and pain, and great memories of the time and experiences we shared together with him.

It is not possible to adequately capture Luis Andres' life in a few short paragraphs.

The family sorely mourns the sudden loss of Luis Andres and we will greatly miss his presence, his smile and his love.

Family and friends can join together for the viewing on Friday, February 24, 2023 from 5-8 p.m. at Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga, ON L5B 1M8, Canada

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 beginning at 3 p.m. at Peel Chapel. Following this, the family will have a private gathering at home to celebrate the life of their beloved Luis Andres.

Un alma libre, aventurera y sensible. Luis Andrés murió serenamente, en el calor de su hogar, el sábado 18 de febrero de 2022.

Nació en Caracas, Venezuela, el 10 de noviembre de 1986, de María Teresa Febres y Luis Vega. Luigi, como lo llamaba su familia, estaba lleno de vida y vivía a su manera. Junto con su hermana menor, Andreina, se trasladó de Venezuela a Canadá en busca de una vida mejor.

Desde muy joven, Luis Andrés tuvo una personalidad única, siempre impulsado a tomar su propio camino en este mundo. Encontraba constantemente formas de reinventarse y perseveraba ante cualquier reto que se le presentara.
Luis Andrés tenía muchas pasiones: la comida, la bebida, la música, las artes y los viajes. Le encantaba explorar nuevos lugares, probar cosas diferentes y perderse en sus aventuras. Pero por encima de todo, Luis Andrés se encontró a sí mismo y su vocación en los drones y la fotografía. Una pasión relativamente reciente. Luis Andrés trabajó sin descanso, para convertirse en un operador de drones con licencia completa y un creador de contenido audiovisual muy respetado en el área metropolitana de Toronto. Llevó consigo sus pasiones a dondequiera que fuera, y la familia tiene la suerte de que inmortalizara con su lente infinidad de momentos y bellos recuerdos: viajes, de vacaciones familiares, bodas y reuniones.

Luis Andrés tenía un corazón bondadoso y grande. Amaba profundamente a toda su familia, especialmente a sus abuelos: la abuela Lila, Alita y Perucho, que lo motivaron a soñar en grande y siempre estuvieron ahí cuando necesitó su apoyo y ánimo. Se aseguraba de que sus abuelos supieran lo mucho que significaban para él.

Para sus primos, Luis Andrés era increíblemente aventurero. Orquestaba y dirigía los juegos y travesuras propias de la infancia. Fue el cómplice perfecto para soñar en grande, inspirando siempre a atreverse a más. Todavía hoy lo hace.

Cuando quería, era el alma más atenta y cariñosa, desviviéndose por ayudar a los necesitados. Rara vez había un momento aburrido, Luis Andrés llenaba a su familia y amigos de amor y dolor, y de grandes recuerdos y experiencias que compartidas junto a él.

No es posible resumir adecuadamente la vida de Luis Andrés en unos breves párrafos.

La familia lamenta profundamente su repentina pérdida y echaremos mucho de menos su presencia, su sonrisa y su amor.

Familiares y amigos pueden acompañarnos en el velorio este viernes 24 de febrero de 2023, de 5 a 8pm en Peel Chapel 2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga, ON L5B 1M8, Canadá.

El funeral será el día siguiente, sábado 25 de febrero de 2023 de 3 a 4pm en la misma capilla. Acto seguido la familia se reunirá en casa para celebrar la vida de nuestro querido Luigi.
