Lucia Da Silva

February 12, 1971 - December 3, 2019

Lucia passed away surrounded by the love of her family on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Toronto Western Hospital. Beloved wife to Ronnie. Loving and devoted mother to Joseph and Julia. Cherished daughter to Maria and the late Michael. Special sister to Nick and Denise Graziosi, and adored aunt to Michael and Kayla. Dear daughter in law to Jose and Lidia Da Silva. Cherished sister in law to Mark and Amanda, loved god mother of Daniella and Olivia.

Lucy was a kind and gentle soul. Her soft spoken voice, her warm demeanor and genuine compassion and consideration for others endeared us all into her friendship.

From a young age Lucy had a strong work ethic and a strong dedication to her family and friends. When Lucy set a goal nothing would stop her till she achieved it with the perfection of a seamstress or tailor. This was most evident in her meticulous work in the garments she made, then as a teacher and her dedicated commitment to her students.

Above all else, Lucy was a devoted wife and a beautiful and loving mother. She was very special to us all and she will forever have a place in our hearts. We will miss her dearly.

So Sorry to see such a bright light move on. She was a Cherished member of our School and a very loving teacher.. My whole family sends their condolences as she touched all my childrens lives since we negan our Journey at Mother Cabrini 10 years ago.

Dearest Mrs DaSilva, no words can express the sadness and anger we have at seeing one of our most treasured and caring teacher and person that you were suddenly leave us. Our deepest condolences goes out to your husband, your children, your family and your circle of close friends and colleagues. You are now an angel to your children and your students and to all those who will miss you dearly. Mother Cabrini has suffered a great loss. You will always be remembered and loved by all those you taught. Thank you for the wonderful 2 years you taught Angelica and always inspiring her. She truly loved you. Mrs Da Silva rest in peace now. God please take care of her.

Our condolences to Mrs. DaSilva's family. She was a kind soul who was gentle with the children. She was a wonderful teacher. Both my children had her as a teacher, and they always spoke highly of her. She will be missed.
