April 29, 1931 - November 25, 2024

Peacefully, with her family by her side, on Monday November 25, 2024, at the age of 93.

Loving mother of Anita (Michael Choma) and Aldo (Christine Rockett). Adored Grandma to Leigh Edson (Jerrod), Christopher Bartolini (Sarah), Laura Moreau (Michael) and Caitlin Bartolini (Aaron Hlady). Cherished Gigi to Hadley and Harper Edson, Grady and Aubrey Bartolini, and Charlotte and Madelyn Moreau.

Sister to Lucille Alati (John, deceased), Peter Grimaldi (Helene), Matthew Grimaldi (Lynne, deceased) and Anthony Grimaldi (Barbara). Lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Jean was raised in Little Italy on Bellwoods Ave. She had a career as an Administrative Assistant for Capitol Records/EMI Canada where she met several lifelong friends.

She enjoyed cooking and Sunday dinners with family, traveling to Oak Island, NC with Red and sharing good laughs with family and friends.

Special thanks to Kaye, her personal caregiver for the last 4 years and the staff at Silverthorn Care Community, Meadow House, who all treated Jean with love, respect and compassion.

A private family service will be held.

If desired, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of your choice.
