Loo-Jean Cunningham

February 17, 1929 -  December 31, 2023

Loo-Jean Cunningham passed away peacefully at age 94 after a brief time in hospital. Born in London Ontario, the only child of Bertha & Harold Collister. She grew up and spent all her life either living nearby or vacationing at the cottage north of Grand Bend, Ontario on the shores of Lake Huron. She met her late husband John Cunningham in Ottawa shortly after graduating with a degree in Science from Western University and they married in 1952 settling down to raise her four children in Etobicoke. She worked during that time for over 30 years at Toronto General Hospital as a lab technologist in the blood bank. She was a strong independent woman who loved her children, their spouses and grandchildren immensely. She is survived by Gavin & Theresa, Susan & Martin, David & Brandi, Rowan, Jason & Natalie, Paul & Caroline, Meghan, Jack, Melissa & Mark, Kyle & Mary, Cameron. She also is survived by her brother in law Peter & Marie Cunningham and their daughter Gillian and her family

Private arrangements to honour Loo-Jean’s life have been made. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Diabetes society: diabetes.ca
