In Celebration of

Linda Diana Villani

May 10, 1941 -  January 4, 2023

Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Centre with her children by her side. Linda, predeceased by beloved husband, Nick Villani, loving mother of Lisa (late Bill Traynor) and Michael (Dina Pagnotta), grandmother to three wonderful grandchildren, sister of Virginia Hunter and Arlene Surgeoner, predeceased by sisters Helen Malton, Harriett Randles and brothers Jack Bohn and Jerry Bohn.

She took great care of our family and made us feel loved and special. Linda was Nick’s trusted partner and best friend. She encouraged and supported every aspect of our lives and was the rock of our family. Linda was loved and respected by everyone. She will be remembered for her generous spirit, intelligence and strength of character.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., Toronto, from 2:00-4:00 pm on Sunday, January 8th with prayers at 2:00pm. The family’s good friend, Msgr. Sam Bianco will celebrate the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 3055 Bloor St. W., Toronto, at 11:00am on Monday, January 9th. Flowers are gratefully declined. If you wish, donations may be made in Linda’s memory to the Alzheimer Society of Canada (alzheimer.ca).

Dear Lisa , Michael and Dina .... so sorry for your loss. Even though it was not unexpected, it is still a difficult situation. She was loved and admired by Oli and we enjoyed many bridge games over the years ... competing against Nick and Linda..

Sorry to hear this sad news. Our Aunt Linda and Uncle Nick were always there for our family in our time of need. She will be missed. Condolences to Lisa and Michael. And all who are saddened by the news of our kind Aunt’s passing.
