In Celebration of

Lina Wells

July 29, 1929 -  December 9, 2020

Wells, Lina Mabel (nee Margraf)

Passed away peacefully at the age of 91 after a brief illness with her family by her side.
Beloved wife of the late Allan. Cherished Mother of Lynn (Joe), Ian (Sheri) and dearest Gramma to Sarah.
Survived by sister, Helen of Kimberly, BC and brother, George of Montreal.

Mom's world always focused on her family and close friends. It revolved around spending time with family, whether hosting her classic Holiday dinners or in later years enjoying and participating in family dinners or special occasions in our homes. She treasured those moments and times.

Mom took great pleasure in faithfully staying connected to all family and friends, near and far.

All who knew Mom would say she was independent, generous, spirited and forever a true Verdunite. Mom will live in many hearts and memories as the loving, sweet, engaging lady she was.

0ur family would like to express our deep gratitude to the Doctors, Nurses and Auxiliary Staff on medical unit 1B at Credit Valley Hospital for their excellent treatment and compassionate care of our Mother.

A cremation has taken place and a burial will follow in Montreal at a future date.

In remembrance of Lina, the family would be appreciative of donations to The Canadian Cancer Society.
