It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Lidia Tomé who departed this life on February 18, 2025.

Born on December 16, 1931, Lidia dedicated her life to the love and care of her family. As the devoted mother of 11 children, the proud grandmother of 16 grandchildren, and great-grandmother to 11 great-grandchildren, she was the cornerstone of our family and the embodiment of wisdom, strength, and selflessness.

Her life was a testament to the power of love, sacrifice, and unwavering faith in family. She dedicated her life to the well-being of those she loved, always putting others before herself. Her quick wit and sharp humor could lighten any room, bringing smiles even in the hardest times. Her presence was a blessing, and her memory will forever be cherished.

Though we grieve her loss, we take solace in knowing that her love lives on in each of us. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

A service to honour Lidia’s beautiful life will be held on Monday March 3, 2025 from 5-8 p.m. at Turner & Porter Funeral Home, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga.

The family asks that you continue her legacy by showing kindness, sharing laughter, and always putting family first—just as she did.
