Elizabeth "Libby" Holwell

February 18, 1955 -  February 9, 2020

Unexpectedly, on Sunday, February 9, 2020, at the age of 64. Beloved daughter of John and Alice Clare Abbott. Loving mother of Lori (Chris) and Michael (Suzanne). Devoted Nana of Olivia, Hannah, John, Megan, Erin, Alex, and Andrew. Sister to John (Fiona). Adored by nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter ‘Neweduk-Erin Mills’ Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W., Mississauga (east of Erin Mills Pkwy), on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, February 14, 2020, at 3 p.m.

For those who wish, donations may be made to the Down Syndrome Association of Peel, DSAP.ca.
Libby worked closely with children with intellectual disabilities as a teaching assistant with the Peel Board.

Libby was a very special member of your family and will be greatly missed. She loved her grandchildren so much and played such an active caring part in their daily lives.
