God says, "That we are the salt of the earth". That we are here for a purpose, a reason to enhance our lives. God says that he needs us to be the "light of the world," and has plans for every single one of us. Leszek' s purpose was his family- wife Helen, and son Patrick. To care for them and to protect them. Leszek was a loving, caring husband and father. He did everything to make us happy. Once I saw a purse in a store window and said to Leszek, " That's a nice purse". He went inside the store and bought it for me to make me feel better because my brother passed away. Leszek was also a very proud and sensitive man. He was proud of his accomplishments and always wanted to do things independently. A good word or a positive comment was all he wanted to hear. Leszek had charm and loved to be around people. He made friends easily. And boy! did he ever know a lot of people. People that cared and spoke well of him. He also was very organized at work and at home and worked hard to provide for his family. Leszek loved his son Patrick with all his heart and his grandson, Matteo who just started to say grandfather in Polish. He was a super "hockey dad" for Patrick. Leszek went to every game and tournament to see him play. Every hockey picture was place in an album to reflect those wonderful games and special events.Leszek also loved animals. He especially loved his dog Mickey who protected him and was by his side all the time. The plan was to share his love for life and happiness with all. Which he did. Leszek loved music and when he played the accordian he made a room full of people sing and dance. He sure played that accordian like a "pro".
We will miss this talented, skillful loving man. He will be in our hearts for ever. Now, Leszek, you will never have to suffer and feel pain again. Peace be with you, my darling. I will never let you go. You're mine forever.

Helen and Les were married for 32 years (May 5 1990). Les owned a food distributing company called Kaspol with a partner. He sold his half and still worked in the warehouse getting orders for the stores ready. He would work all night to prepare the shipments for next day deliveries. Les played soccer professionally in Poland and in Canada just for fun! He enjoyed playing chess, accordian and the keyboard. He was a corporal in the Polish army for 2 years as a sniper. He trained students on how to shoot a rifle. He held a variety of jobs, like house painting, bricklayer, delivering goods and doing interlocking. He did all the renovations in the townhouse that he shared with Helen. Les was an organized worker and kept his home neat and tidy.
He loved all the pets Helen brought into the home (dogs or cats) but his favorite was Mickey the dog (seen in photo). He was proud of his son Patrick, wife Angela and thrilled to have a grand son Matteo. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Rest in Peace! May his memory be a blessing. Susan

I knew Leszek for more than 25 years, when I moved to townhouse and became “ next door neighbours”. I remember how surprised he was , but also happy that I am Polish and we can talk in Polish language . Since then “only neighbours” became friends and friendship last until this day .
Leszek was a “people “ person - he had lots of friends and always makes you welcome to his house.
He loved music but most importantly, he has one of rare skill- can play accordion on the level that he was a member of live band , playing in many Polish weddings .
Leszek was very organized in many ways ; either simply organizing his albums , note book or in more difficult tasks - to perfectly set up his garage , where each of his tools had unique spot.
Leszek was always hard working man and happy to help others . He never refused any help.
He loved his family dearly .
You left us too early , too soon .
You always be in our memories .
Rest In Peace Leszek
Będzie nam Ciebie brakowało .
Wieczny odpoczynek racz dać Ci Panie , a światłość wiekuista niechaj ci swieci na wieki wieków . Amen . 🙏
