It is with heavy hearts that we announce Leonor Martins has passed away at Amica City Centre on Thursday September 14th, 2023.

Beloved wife of Carlos Martins and the late Carlos Da Rosa (1984). She will be greatly missed by her children Maria (late Mitch), Joseph, George (late Joyce), Elizabeth (Jack) Spinola, and Philip (Rebecca); grandchildren Matthew (Natasha), Samantha, Amanda (Michael), Nick, Johnny, Kyle, Sarah, and Aiden; as well as her great grandson Tyler.

A loving woman with a sweet personality, Leonor worked in a chocolate factory for 30 years. She had a gift for working with people, welcoming many customers through the doors of her clothing and variety store. Her spirit of hospitality extended to helping friends and relatives to come to Canada. She enjoyed puzzles, card games (a fan of ‘Sequence’ and the Portuguese card game ‘Sueca’). She loved to laugh, travel, and was never afraid to try her luck on the casino slots. Above all, Leonor cherished spending her time with her family, whom she loved beyond measure. They will miss her dearly.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy 10 N. of Q.E.W) on Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be held at Cristo Rei Parish, 3495 Confederation Pkwy, Mississauga, on Friday, September 22, 2023 at 11 a.m.

Interment Prospect Cemetery, Toronto.
