It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Devan Pearce, loving husband of Beth Pearce (June Elizabeth Robinson), and loving father to Michele Smith, Theresa (Brian Nagy), and Daniel Pearce (Glen Hart). Leonard is predeceased by Donna Marie. Papa will also be missed by his grandchildren: Colin and Renee Nagy, as well as Austin, Brittany, and Nathan Smith. Leonard remains in the hearts of his two sisters: Connie Griffin and Dorothy (Barry Boulanger), and all of his nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother in-law, Gothard Griffin. Leonard passed away peacefully at Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga , on February 13th, 2016, at the age of 82. The family would like to extend a heart-felt thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff of 3C at the hospital. Also, we would like to thank our friends, relatives, and parishioners of St. Ignatius Loyola Church in Mississauga for both their acts of kindness and their many prayers. Visitation will be held in Mississauga at Turner & Porter Nuweduk Chapel on Wednesday, February 17th, 2016, from 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, February 18th, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church in Mississauga.
