Leonard (Len) Jones

December 23, 1931 - September 15, 2024

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Leonard (Len) Jones on Sunday September 15, 2024, aged 92 years, at Toronto Grace Health Centre.

Len was born in Zimbabwe, formerly known as Rhodesia, in 1931 and he was a Commercial Accountant with the Canadian Federal Government.

Len enjoyed ballroom dancing and travel and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers kindly donate to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Funeral service at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West, Toronto, Friday September 27, 2024, Visitation at 2 pm, a Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 3pm, with Reception to follow.

Leonard was what you would call 'a real gentleman's gentleman.' He Loved to dance and was a really good dancer.

Heard many wonderful stories of his life and all the places he had been. Lived a very full life. A true friend till the end for sure. Will miss talking to him on all the special occasions and holidays.

I met Len through the Gallaghers and that goes back quite a while. Len was a very caring person.
I will miss him calling me on holidays to wish me a happy holiday.

I too am sad that Len passed away. I worked with Len for years at CRA. He was upbeat and enjoyed talking casually on any subject. I will miss him.
