Lazo Gambelic passed away on Monday November 14, 2022. Lazo is survived by his wife, Gordana (Nenadic), and children: Aleksandra, Mario, Nikolina, and Dario.

Born in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina to Predrag Gambelic and Veselka (Kragulj) Gambelic, Lazo was proud of his heritage and shared his love for his country with his children. His favourite pastimes included spending time with his family, watching sitcoms, going on roadtrips, BBQing, watching the FIFA/Eurocup, and collecting vintage model cars.

Before owning his private contracting business (Lazart), Lazo had a passion for creating original design wrought iron furniture, fencing, railings, and other works. As a general contractor, he enjoyed meeting new people and building lasting relationships; to Lazo, everyone was his family.

Lazo’s memory will continue to live on through his family and friends, and his presence will be greatly missed.

A visitation will be held at Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga on Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel.

The family asks in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made in Lazo’s name to The SickKids Foundation.
