We are devastated to announce the passing of Laudelina Maria Dos Santos Neves Dias, at the young age of 69 who left us unexpectedly on January 23, 2025.

Born May 3rd, 1955 to Antonio Amaro Das Neves and Luiza Dos Santos Neves in São Sebastião, Terceira, Açores. She was the younger sibling of Antonio Amaro Dos Santos.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 49 years Helder Jose Toste Dias.

Laudelina was a cherished mother to Sonia and Luisa and beloved mother-in-law to Nelson and Jamy. She will be deeply missed by her four granddaughters Celina, Tatiana, Julia and Olivia who fondly referred to her as Vavó.

Laudelina’s family was her greatest pride, she cherished the moments spent with her brother and sister-in-laws, her nieces and nephews, her cousins, friends and her many extended family members.

Laudelina loved to cook and provide for her family, she was hardworking, generous and unwavering in her family values. She was a pillar of strength to her family and without her we have lost our way.

Although her passing was a tragic one, we take comfort in the fact that she died doing something she loved.

Our family wishes to extend our deepest gratitude and thanks to all the family and friends that have surrounded us with love and support during this difficult time.

She will forever be in our hearts.
