In Celebration of

Lance Noel Rampone

January 5, 1960 -  August 31, 2023

Suddenly on August 31st, 2023, Lance Noel Rampone passed away. Survived by his beloved wife Tracy, cherished son Neil (Emily), mother Valerie, brother Paul (Marilyn) and niece Stephanie (Derek) . Predeceased by his father Larry (Ludovico) Rampone.

Lance's passion was football. He lived, breathed, played, coached, and mentored for a combination of 40 years. Playing at the age of 12 until retiring from coaching at 50+, he played house league for SMFC (Mississauga) , Woodlands High School (Mississauga), and after graduation from high school continued onto the Mississauga Raiders for the OSMFL for 12 years. Lance stayed highly active in football after retiring from the Mississauga Raiders and volunteered for the Mississauga Football League(MFL). Lance coached for the Streetsville Meadowvale Football Club (SMFC) for those 20 + years and served on the MFL Board for 10 years. This association enabled Lance to contribute his knowledge, experience and heart of the game to where it mattered most - the players.

Lance's heart carried through at home, where the door was always open. When you walked through the door , you were no longer a stranger. A comforting, safe haven was provided.

Lance's other passion was cooking and creating many family favourite recipes over the years. Sharing and enjoying a meal with loved ones from far and wide was a regular occurrence.

Lance will be sorely missed as his life was taken far too soon. His compassion, caring and the ability to provide a safe and supportive environment was unmatched.

Love from all who knew you.

In honor of Lance, donations may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation of Canada.

Lance welcomed me from the first time I walked through the door with Tracy. Feeding me sending me home with lunch sharing a bottle of wine.

Driving my son to football!!!

And when my life was falling apart he was there with my friend to help in any way he could.

Had the pleasure of knowing Lance through his high school years at The Woodlands.
He was a very easy going and likeable person who demonstrated a great work ethic on and off the football field. A very pleasant personality and likeable person , respected by many of the teaching and coaching staffs!
He was a real credit to the football program and the school in general , taken far too soon and will be missed .
