It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Krzysztof Lipiec on November 5th, 2020 at the age of 62. Krzysztof passed away peacefully in his home, after a long battle with cancer.

Born in Lagow, Poland on September 9th, 1958 to parents Wladyslawa and Stanislaw Lipiec. Loving father to Jacek, Andrzej (pre-deceased), Lukasz (Agnieszka), Wojciech (Zofia) and Magdalena. Cherished Dziadek of Maciej, Oliwia, Martyna, Wiktoria, Filip, Maja and Weronika, and beloved brother to Danuta, Marian, Aniela, Henryk, Bogumila (predeceased), Stanislawa, Maria and Marek. Krzysztof will also be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

The glue of a substantial family in Canada and Poland, Krzysztof loved large family gatherings and having everyone together; nothing made him happier than being surrounded by family and friends. His unconditional love was felt by all. All that knew him loved his companionship, his generosity and his incredible love of life. He was a humble man who put others before himself, tireless in providing for and protecting his family until the very end of his life.

Here on earth, we will struggle with the unbelievable loss and the inexpressible void we feel in our hearts. We know that he will be with us through our lives here, and one day, with the good grace of God, we will once again be reunited with him. Until then, he will always remain with us, and the glue that continues to hold us all together.

Heaven has gained an angel. He has reunited with his loving parents, his older sister, his son Andrzej, and countless family members and friends who all left us too soon. We are comforted knowing that he continues to be surrounded by family and friends, and he is watching over us from above.

Krzysztof will never be forgotten, and his legacy and memory will live on for generations to come.

Due to Public Health restrictions, a private Funeral Mass will be held at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church followed by a private burial at Assumption Catholic Cemetery.
