Kim Austin, the day I met you was at a bar called O'Toole's in Rexdale back in April 1989 you were sitting at a side booth you looked SO BEAUTIFUL! The light was shining down over you, your long beautiful hair, your eyes Green to a Grey colour, "now I think back you looked a Angel", you looked up and we locked eyes and I walked into the chairs and table that was in front of me which I did not see because of your beauty that captured my heart and soul. I worked up the nerve to ask you to dance with me, you said "Yes". While we were dancing you told me that you had 3 kids and if we were to continue this I would have to accept that, I looked back at you in amazement and said "Yes". After that I asked you Kim out on a date you replied "Yes". On Saturday May 13 1989 I went to your apartment knocked on your door and not 3 but 5 kids answered as I stood there nervous and confused, you and your sister thought it was funny. As we left your home we went for dinner and a movie which we still cannot remember what movie we watched. That night we shared our first kiss at the movies after that we both knew that it was meant to be. The day we had our date May 13 1989 changed our lives together forever. For 31.5 years we have made every day our adventure together. We have loved each other completely every minute of everyday. We have seen new life come into our family, we have lost loved ones together which only made us stronger. I am having a hard time ending our story together. Thank you for loving me the way you did and choosing me to be apart of it. I will love you always and forever. My one and only true love. My heart is hurting from the loss of my soulmate. All of our memories will be forever with me.
With love always and forever your Husband Gary.

My deepest condolences to all of Kim's family. I worked with her about 14 years ago at Etobicoke Home Depot and though time has passed she is someone I would never forget. Kim was one of the kindest people I have ever met, always smiling and laughing no matter what. She was giving and caring and a truly sweet person. We spent many hours laughing and eating the many treats she would bring to work and I cherish the memories of dancing the night away with her at my wedding. I am blessed to have known her. Wishing all of you peace and strength ❤
